Old traditional amphore bottle with a lovely green and ocher glaze. This type of bottles were produced in the South of Italy for peasants working in the fields. They used to transport water in these flask, which kept the water fresh.
Perfect decor element to display in the kitchen and living room, in a restaurant or inn. It can be used as a lamp base too.
DIMENSIONS: cm 24 high (9 1/2"). Weight: 1140 gr.
CONDITIONS: old item in very good conditions. Minor imperfections are due to the rustic manufacture, it's handmade and hand painted. Slight signs of age (dust deposit, thin crackles) add more charm and patina to this rustic, shabby bottle.
