How long will my item take to make?

Most custom items take about a week to make/engrave (6-8 days). Need an item by a certain date? I'm glad to accommodate when I can! Please contact me for rush orders.

Can you use a photo of my handwritten recipe?

A scanned color copy of your recipe is always preferred as it gives me even lighting and clear writing. Please scan at a resolution of at least 300dpi. If you only have access to a photo, please send it to me prior to ordering so I can see if your photo will work. The biggest thing to keep in mind when photographing your recipe: I need even lighting (no flash and no shadows).

Materials: solid wood

Choosing your loved one's eternal resting place is never an easy task! Giving them something completely custom to remind you of their personality and hobbies is a great way to honor their life.

This urn is made of solid alder or walnut wood and can be engraved any way you'd like. It measures 8 3/4" x 10 3/4" x 6 7/8" on the outside. And 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" x 4 1/2" on the inside providing almost 250 cubic inches inside. There are 4 Phillips screws on the bottom to access the inside area.
Alder is the lighter wood and walnut is the darker wood.

The urn can be engraved with a photograph or other image of your choosing. I've provided several options, but other images can be requested as well.

A digital proof will be provided before engraving begins. Please check your Etsy messages for proofs.

So very pleased with the price and the entire process!! Edi has great customer service. We got exactly what we were hoping for. I can't believe the details on the urn that were captured from the photo I submitted. I was also very pleased with the care of packaging, the urn was very well protected! I am so thankful I found this Etsy shop, because my family was getting deterred, feeling like we wouldn't be able to find something my dad would have loved, and he would have absolutely loved this urn!!

I am so happy I went with this item. The product turned out beautifully, and my only regret is that I didn't have one made for my mom when she passed last year. The personalization was super easy, the etching in the wood turned out so well. The box itself was incredibly solid and the wood tone was gorgeous. I could not have asked for a better urn box to use for my Dad.
