The pattern was easy to print at the correct size. There is a great video showing the pattern being used to make the item. It is a great design, easy to make, and the results are awesome. I made some modifications to how I put the item together. The leather I used for the handle was a little soft to have a rigid handle in this design, so I shaped and glued a wide wooden tongue depressor into the middle of the layers in the handle between the stitching and it added the perfect amount of rigidity to the handle. I also punched the top layer only, glued the layers in the handle together, and after drying fully drilled the thread holes through all the layers then sanded the edges of the handle. The project turned out very nicely due to this great pattern.
