Beautiful floral housecoat, dating from 1950s.
Made from a silky feel fabric, which I think is rayon or possibly acetate, it has a very 50s print of pink flowers on a yellow background.
Midi length, it has a mandarin collar with a ruffled edge,and fastens at the front with covered buttons.
It has 2 patch pockets at the front.
Measures 44" bust/ waist, 52" hips.
Length 49.5" from shoulder to hem.
Would fit a size M/L, also looks good as an oversized fit, as on the mannequin.
It has been quite well worn over the years and has some minor condition issues. It`s had some repairs in the past, and some of the overlocking of the seams has come undone, most noticeably on the front facings.
All the same, it`s a very striking, wearable piece, in fairly good overall condition.
