Personalized Rustic Wood Sign, Engraved Natural Bark Edge, Made in UK

A beautiful personalised sign, rustic look made of natural wood with tree bark. Can be customised with any text. Each one is made to order in the UK, meticulously engraved by wood burning. Can be supplied without the twine/hooks - just let us know in the notes box when ordering. Please choose one of the font styles from the two 'font options' photos on the listing. If you require help with any of this or even if you're not quite sure which style would look best just get in touch as we can send you an electronic design proof of your sign. After ordering, please look out for any messages in your Etsy account as if we are unsure about anything or have any suggestions for changes, we may message you a proof to check over.

APPROXIMATE SIZES:
Length: 37cm - 40cm approx (14 - 16 inches)
Height: 12cm - 13cm approx. (4.7 inches)

Please note due to these being natural wood slices each one is a unique piece with a different shape and size so the look of your slice won't look exactly like any of the pictures on the listing, although we always try to make them as representative as we can. We will glue on any loose bark but there may be a small amount of bark missing from the cutting process, but you can be assured you will receive a nice piece as we take out the slices that have any significant missing bark or have significant damage and use these ourselves for testing purposes etc. There may also be some small natural dark knots in the wood on some of the slices which usually add to the character of each piece, but again any that look like blemishes we won't send. If you have specific requirements (e.g. you would like a more unusual shape, one of the cute smaller sizes, one with knots, or if you would like to see your blank slice before we make it, just let us know!

MAINTENANCE FOR EXTERNAL SIGNS:
When you receive your sign with the external treatment option, it will have been thoroughly treated with high quality preservatives and protected with at least 5 coats of a quality, flexible outdoor varnish with UV protection which we have tested outdoors. However, it's important to note that if the sign is kept outdoors or in a moist environment all wood preservatives/varnish break down over time and as we can't predict the conditions each sign will be kept in, we would strongly advise inspecting and retreating your sign with a ‘top-up’ coat of clear outdoor varnish regularly. This would be especially important in harsher climates like the UK as the poplar wood the sign is made from isn't particularly naturally resistant to decay if left untreated.

Thanks for looking, any questions just ask :)
