Sometimes when we lose a special companion, it feels like we've lost a big part of ourselves and are left with a huge emptiness that was once filled with the love we had for our beloved pet ♥

Being able to carry a piece of our beloved companion that captures their memory can help us heal and deal with the grief as we try to adapt to the loss over time.

I've created this memorial necklace in particular, to help those who have lost a pet bird or parrot companion and would like to hold one of their feathers inside the locket.

The locket itself is made with a strong magnetic closure so you will be able to open this when you receive the necklace and securely place the feather, ashes or any other tiny ornaments of your beloved that may fit inside.

If your pet's name is no more than 7 letters in length, I can hand-stamp their name on a beautiful stainless steel heart blank which sits gently on top of the feather. The personalisation of the heart charm is part of the order and requires no extra charge. Just mention his/her name when you add this listing to your Cart.

Your order will also include a few photo inserts of your beloved that can be placed inside the locket (can be removed at any time). All you need to do is send me an Etsy convo with the photo you would like me to include and I will take care of the cropping and resizing at my end.
