"This is a great basic pattern to make simple male doll’s shirts from woven fabric scraps. I have made a few for an early 1990s Kevin (slim torso similar to vintage Ken, but with shorter arms and legs), and for a late 1980s Beach Blast Ken (more muscular torso and arms than vintage Ken). All fit on both dolls, although cutting a slightly deeper armhole resulted in a better (slip on, rather than tug on) fit for the heftier Beach Ken. I also cut the neck a bit deeper and applied double folded bias tape for a very quick, clean finish."
