When wet, the waxed canvas looks soaked, but it works beautifully dries off quick, and has kept my iPad/book/gifts/back of pastries completely dry. "I have been using this bag for a bit now, so I wanted to give my review after some use. I do like this backpack a lot actually; the quality is great, the detail on the bag is cute, and it holds items very well! It sits fine on my shoulders/back for school, and it holds up very well. My only two complaints are: 1. The magnet pieces on the outside of the front flap and on the side of the bag DO NOT stay together. I understand that these magnets might not be for staying closed 24/7 purposes and instead just staying closed temporarily, but it sucks when you’re in bad weather and the bag doesn’t stay shut. The string tightening thing is the only way I’m able to keep my items inside protected and closed in 2. The zippers get stuck very easily, so it makes it hard to open the pockets sometimes Otherwise, I love the bag!"
