"Love this so far, even though haven't used it as much as my new flameware skillet. So far, only used the sauce pan to heat up soup and cook pasta. New to this type of pottery, I am experiencing a learning curve in how to raise and lower the heat once something starts cooking. I have a ceramic stove, and I'll warm the bottom of the pot on low, then gradually increase. I start low heat and gradually increase, but since I'm afraid to hurt it, I am still learning how high to actually cook something. But highly recommend if you are wanting a different taste than metal leaves in cooking. One more thing, lol, I found the 8 inch glass lid I have fits the sauce pan and leaves the pour spouts in the pan open to vent. Perfect."
