"Honestly my first time sewing, I was a bit nervous after looking it up & seeing this type to be tough, but it wasn't 'sew' bad. From what I gathered, basically it's a regular piece of thread, with 2 strands of metallic 'gold' (I'm sure it's real, as it's not a large amount, and is an alloy) twisted together. The affect is quite stunning, as it looks great imho. I've been through a few washes and it's held up as regular thread likely would, don't foresee any issues honestly, I'll purchase in the future if I need more for sure!"
