Shipping/Lost/stolen package

You (the customer) are responsible for any incorrect addresses, or locations where the post office is unable to deliver and I will not refund you in those situations. Postage is not refunded if it’s been used. Please make sure the address is correct before buying! Package theft is not covered by shipping insurance and we will not pay at our expense. It is your responsibility to secure a safe location for packages! If the tracking number shows as delivered, but you cannot find it, you’ll have to contact your local post office USPS. It’s your job to make sure your mail is being delivered in a safe area where mail can’t be stolen!

There are no cancellations, refunds, or exchanges given for products - all sales are final. I do cover damaged items as long as the damaged item is returned to me in its original packaging. Due to the custom nature of our products, partial refunds/exchanges are offered if you receive a damaged or defective item. The damaged package MUST be in its original packaging (and must reflect that in photos). If the item is taken out of its packing the item is not liable for an exchange due to the fragility of the insect, and will not be liable for a refund. Please note that you MUST reach out within 3 days of receiving your items if you have any concerns or issues!

Keep out of direct sunlight. Over time, the sun will fade the beautiful colors on your specimen. Display in (preferably) a temperature-controlled environment- room temp is best but not required. Keep out of humid/moist environments to prevent molding. Avoid touching wings as this will remove the color (tiny little scales). Some insects are sometimes stored in chemicals such as moth balls for preservation. They may have a smell when you first open them. This usually only affects larger-bodied insects, such as giant beetles and XL scorpions. After a few days, the smell will dissipate.

How are your insects ethically sourced?

I have a government permit to legally import insects from farms & sanctuaries all over the world. The permits ensure sustainable practices & help protect vulnerable wildlife populations. I don’t condone practices that decrease natural populations. Sustainable butterfly farming is supported by conservationists & scientists worldwide because it helps to preserve natural habitat from deforestation & commercial farming, helping their species continue. This also helps maintain populations of all other (thousands of)species of flora and fauna on that protected land where the butterflies are raised. Families in these areas are able to make a fair wage. It’s a beautiful system that aids in the survival and greater good of multiple species.

Eupatorus gracilicornis, the five-horned rhinoceros beetle is a beetle that has four large horns on the prothorax and one extra-long cephalic horn. You will receive one large rhinoceros beetle!

These are super cool! They have 5 horns! Its coloring is shiny jet-black, while the elytra or fore wings are colored yellow or gold. The body is covered by a thick exoskeleton and a pair of thick wing covers lay atop another set of membranous wings underneath, allowing the beetle to fly, although not very efficiently, owing to its large size. These look super cool spread!
