Clothing Measurement Guide

Measurements are listed in full. They are taken with the garment lying flat, from seam to seam, and then doubled for circumference where appropriate. + Chest: across armpit to armpit seam + Waist: across smallest part of waist or across back waistband + Hips: across fullest part of hips (8-10" below waist) + Shoulders: one shoulder seam to the other + Sleeve: top shoulder seam to cuff + Length: top of garment to hem at longest point + Rise: center crotch seam to top of front waistband + Inseam: center crotch seam to hem + Thigh: across thigh just below crotch BOOTS + Base Length: edge of heel to tip of toe + Base Width: Widest part of base of shoe + Heel: bottom to top + Boot Height: top of heel -> top of ankle

I recommend hand washing for the non-denim, non-military items. The majority of pieces can be washed and dried normally. I would avoid using bleach on the Victorian pieces at is will compromise the fabric in some cases.
