Magatama is one of the three sacred treasures of Japan.
Magatama is a traditional symbol of Japan that has been around since the Jomon period.
Magatama is a traditional item that was accepted and developed in ancient Japan and has been handed down to this day. Knowing its long history, the roots of the rituals that lead to the modern God Festival.

What is "In-Yo" (Negative-Positive) integration
"In" means Negative. "Yo" means Positive.
By enclosing the crystal (negative) purified with the sacred water of Izumo Taisha Shrine and the crystal (Positive) purified with the sacred water of Ise Jingu Shrine, the negative and positive are integrated.

The motif is a dragon. Oriental dragons are very sacred and are said to act as a bridge between the gods and people, and are considered to be very auspicious.

Structure and material
This magatama is made by laminating several layers of resin, and the ordonite mechanism is enclosed in it. As you can see in the photo, the 4 cm long magatama is made with great precision. The finely polished surface has a wonderful luster.
