With bones I suggest only cleaning them with soap and water if needed. No harsh chemicals. If you have preserved fur pieces do not submerge in water. Only lightly wipe with a damp cloth. If you have purchased a piece knowingly that has preserved ligaments/tendons/preserved tails/paws/heads or that was described as nature cleaned you may want to let it breathe after shipping in sunlight and air. I'm not responsible if you are sensitive to smell or perceived smells. This is an uncommon issue overall however, there is a chance as this is organic material. Please do not message me about earthy, soil, musty smells on nature cleaned skulls/bones. This is completely normal.

How Skulls & Bones Are Cleaned

All bones in the shop are found in the woods, from roadkill, on state land, in ditches etc. Nature Cleaned : This means the bones are already in a state of natural cleanliness from the correct environment eliminating smells, hide, fur etc. However leaving most commonly natural staining from soils, foliage and the decay process. This means discoloration. Bleaching: Bones/skulls are cleaned of hide, skin, fur then placed in a degreasing/bleaching phase. This is for bones that are more on the "fresher" side or did not decay in an area allowing for the proper bugs/air/sun to eliminate tissues. All bones/skulls are unique so the time to process is different for all. Some degreasing takes weeks, some longer, some shorter. Same for bleaching.

Custom and personalized orders

I will not accept hate symbols, anything denoting racism, no extremist affiliations when it comes to things to be engraved. Do not message me about this. I reserve the right to refuse service.

Unless stated otherwise on jawbone hangers or anything using deer jawbones they are all the same size. Unless it says Faun know that all are adult jawbones and have very little variation in terms of what you would receive. I generally don't put sizes on the hangers. If you really need an exact size let me know. Same for adult deer skulls most adult skulls are 11-12" in length. Rarely do I find ones larger. Faun Skulls are around 6-7" in length.

The Bone Offerings. These are completely unique and devotional. I will state again, that these pieces are not a department store purchase. These pieces are MY personal creation, what you get will be unique. I have stated before these go through changes as I use different stains some are no longer available. Listing will state if the photo is an example of what you will receive. Please make sure to read. Especially recently where I'm replicating an original piece to offer it again. These are folk magic items...made intuitively. Bone pieces are chosen at will during the process and you may receive something a little different from the photo. Regardless you are purchasing an Intention not just an item!

Gift wrapping and packaging

We reuse packing when we can this is the most common route. We use newspaper occasionally as filler, bubble wrap, plastic container items from reused shipping. Boxes are generally reused from work places or they are donated to us. Gift wrapping: Please message directly for options.

We are not responsible for stolen packages. If you live in an area where this is a common it's up to you to make sure your delivery is held by the post or an alternative drop off is made available. We will not issue a refund.
