Elegant extra large placemats for your home in soft green herringbone design with a superior gloss smooth finish. Meticulously hand-illustrated, my designs are inspired by my treasured Scandinavian upbringing and family traditions. Each of our placemat and coaster is individually handmade in England. Please note that there can be small differences on the placemats as they are cut and pressed by hand which makes each placemat truly unique.

Heat-resistant up to 140 degrees with a smooth melamine gloss coating.
Non-slip cork backing protecting your surface.
Scratch-resistant.

DESIGN INSPIRATION:
I grew up in Solna, a suburb just to the north of Stockholm city centre and a lot of my childhood was spent exploring the local royal park called Hagaparken. I particularly liked to play in the Haga Echo Temple which was built in 1790 as a summer dining room for King Gustav III, who loved to entertain outdoors. As well as being a focal point in the park, the acoustics produced by the oval shape assisted the conversation of the king and his guests across the large oval table.
