This little chickadee has been hand sculpted from a stoneware clay. She has been hand painted with glazes and fired twice in my kiln. She sits in a little handwoven rattan nest lined with dried moss. (Please note that since the nest is made with natural materials, it may not sit perfectly flat and may have some loose debris after shipping.)

She will be happy to sit anywhere with you - on your desk, a shelf, a windowsill, in a large terrarium or a houseplant.

The bird measures approximately two inches (5 cm) long. The nest measures approximately 3"-3.5" (8-9 cm) wide.

No molds are ever used in my pieces. Since each piece is made by hand from start to finish, each little animal may vary slightly, giving each one a unique personality. No piece leaves my studio until it brings a smile to my face!

All my glazes are lead-free. All my pieces are initialed on the underside.
