Vermeil is solid sterling silver that has been heavily plated with 22k gold. It looks like solid 22k gold, and with proper care it will continue to look like solid gold for years. What is 14kgold fill?

14k gold fill is jewelers brass that has been "filled" with 14k gold so it looks and wears like solid 14k gold at a much more affordable price. The gold does not wear off and with proper care it will look beautiful for a lifetime.

I use high quality materials to make my jewelry. However, all jewelry needs to be cared for properly to prevent tarnishing and breakage. Below is a list of no-no's if you wish to keep your jewlery beautiful and whole! Don't wear your jewelry in the shower, bath or swimming. If you sweat a lot, wipe the jewelry off gently with a soft cloth before returning it to it's bag. Take your jewelry off before bed time or during heavy physical activity. Apply your make up, perfume, hair spray, etc before putting on your jewelry. Use the anti-tarnish bags provided with your jewelry for storage. Make sure that the jewelry is dry before putting it in the bag. Use the plastic wire nuts provided so you don't lose an earring!

5 yards by 44 inches of gorgeous 16th Century patterned hand block printed cotton! This motif is currently being marketed by the MMA in their catalogue detailed as a copy from an Iznik plate circa 1560 to 1590.
There is more than enough to make that saucy Safavid Persian dress, Ottoman Turkish entari or Regency day dress! Block printed fabrics have been made and used for hundreds if not thousands of years.
This is a very soft, smooth and finely woven cotton, a light broadcoth weight. Wash in cold water, dry in a warm dryer before cutting. I haven't had any of these fabrics run or fade, they have all washed and sewn up beautifully! Occasionally a piece of fabric will have a left over dye odor, washing with regular detergent will usually remove the smell. You can also add a cup of white vinegar to the rinse water.
The cottons with a white background let the light through as you can see in some of the pictures.
Small dye/printing flaws are expected in hand blocked/rolled fabric.
Colors: Blue, Red, Green, Magenta, White
All pictures show true on my monitor. As each monitor is different, yours may not show the true color.

Beautiful fabric as described. The fabric is thinner cotton, but the print is vibrant, and it washed up well. I'm really looking forward to sewing with it in the near future.
