20 Melon Piel de sapo seeds—Santa Claus melon

-Rare melon Piel de Sapo is Spanish for frog's skin and is named after the amphibian looking skin of this sweet melon. This melon is a firm favorite with any family that grows them, and you will have this one on your annual planting list.
The Australian farmers have made it their own by calling it 'Croc-melon'. Either way, the looks are deceptive, as the pale inner flesh is dense, sweet and juicy.

Sowing advice:
To sow Galia melon seeds, begin indoors from mid-April to mid-May, planting two seeds in 3-inch pots of moist seed compost at a depth of 1.5cm. Provide consistent warmth of 18-21°C (64-70°F) using a heated propagator or warm windowsill for germination. After soaking the seeds for 24 hours, sow them on their sides, and once they've developed a few true leaves, harden them off before transplanting outdoors after the last frost.

Planting: Fill small pots (around 7.5cm/3in wide) with moist seed compost. Sow two seeds per pot, pushing them into the compost on their side to a depth of approximately 1.5cm (½in).
