Also called a dibber or a dibbler, a dibble is a versatile garden tool that makes planting seeds, seedlings and bulbs a joy. Professionals know the importance of planting to consistent depths. Our dibble makes it easy because the 6" long working shaft is marked in inches. Dibbles are also excellent for aerating soil and creating watering holes around a plant so the water goes straight to the roots. Buy two and you can run a string between them to plant in perfectly straight rows, spirals, etc!

I turn these dibbles from Ash that's grown here in Maine. I like Ash because it's both attractive and very strong, like a baseball bat. They hold up to years of abuse.

Each Dibble measures roughly 11" long by 1-1/8" diameter and has a leather loop through the handle. It comes with complete instructions for using it effectively and efficiently.
