What size insert should I use?

For square sizes, we recommend using inserts that are 2" larger than the finished pillow cover size. For example if you order a 20x20 cover, you will want to use a 22x22 insert. Our lumbar pillow covers are made approximately an inch smaller to ensure that the standard lumbar inserts fit perfectly! Example, a 14x20 cover will fit a 14x20 insert.

How to care for my pillow cover?

Pillow covers can sometimes be an investment and you'd want to ensure that they are cared for properly. Because we use a lot of handwoven, hand-dyed or vintage fabrics, you will want to SPOT or DRY CLEAN your covers only. Do not machine wash, do not use a dryer.

Can you accommodate a special order?

We run a small shop and only produce covers in small batches, however if you would like to discuss a special request, we'll do our best to assist in any way possible!

How can I expedite shipping?

Shipping upgrades are available at checkout. For Canada, you can select Canada Post XpressPost for faster delivery. For US clients, your order will be shipped via FedEx which gets delivered in about 1-3 business days.

I am in the US, will I have to pay duties/taxes to receive my order?

As of August 30th, 2025 the US Government imposed tariffs on all imports, regardless of dollar value. Please note that, while we do submit the necessary documentation to show that our product is Canadian Made, US Customs and Border Protection reserves the right to charge tariffs/duties/taxes as they deem fit. This is beyond our control.

How do I get a fabric sample?

Block printed textiles refers to fabrics that have been printed by hand where, wooden blocks are dipped in organic dyes and then stamped onto the fabric. Due to its handmade nature, slight variations in pattern placement, block lines and color are to be expected between fabric lots contributing to its character and making each piece truly unique.
