Dove feathers have been valued and represented in a variety of ways by different cultures throughout history. For instance, the dove was connected to the goddess Aphrodite in ancient Greece, who stood for fertility, beauty, and love. The dove represented harmony in Native American culture, and its feathers were utilised as potent amulets.
Doves are seen as symbols of loyalty and longevity in Chinese culture and innocence and purity in Japanese society. Around the world, many people consider the dove's feathers to be lucky charms and messengers.
