Check listing details for more info. 3/8" wide collars are the best fit for kittens, cats, small puppies or teacup breed dogs. 5/8" and 3/4” wide collars are usually the best fit for larger puppies or small to medium breed dogs. 1" wide collars are usually best for medium to large breed dogs. 1.5” collars best for large to super large dogs.

Custom and personalized orders

Nonreturnable custom items include special sizing or engraved items.. Any upgrade to an accessory such as adding a buckle to a martingale collar is considered custom and is nonreturnable. Any collar or accessory with any modification that is not normally listed in the shop is final sale.

What is Nylon Webbing?

Nylon webbing is a mesh-like material, much like a backpack strap or seatbelt, only thicker and softer for the comfort of your pet. We sew premium, handpicked fabric onto 100% nylon webbing and then attach hardware to complete the collar, leash or harness. When you look at our collar pictures, you can usually see the webbing on the sides of the ribbon design. For our leashes, the ribbon shows on one side while the other is webbing.

Exchanges are fairly simple. Contact me within 14 days of receipt and let me know you would like to exchange the item. Postage and adequate insurance is the responsibility of the buyer. Please do not send anything back without notifying us first. Please allow up to 10 days after we receive your exchange for processing. All returns and exchanges are on an individual basis only; we reserve the right to refuse any exchanges or returns. Custom items are nonreturnable. Stained or visibly worn items will not be accepted for return. Cost of shipping will not be refunded to buyer. Most of our exchanges are due to incorrect sizes ordered. Be sure to measure!

How to adjust the size

All of our collars and harnesses are fully adjustable. The measurements for each size is located in the listing description and in the listing photos. All collars and harnesses have a triglide adjuster that can shorten or lengthen the accessory as needed. Simply slide the adjuster up or down to adjust the length.

How to measure: Wrap a measuring tape or string behind dogs front legs and up around the back. Choose a size where your dogs measurements fall right in the middle. If your dog is a puppy, choose a size where his/her measurements fall at the lower end so there's room to grow. How to fit the harness: Unbuckle the harness and lay open and flat on the ground. With your dog standing over the harness, place his or her legs in the loops one at a time. Bring the harness up the front legs, snap the buckle together at the top of the dogs shoulders and use adjustment points on the straps to fit the harness snug on your dog. Once the harness is properly fitted, it can be easily removed and used again and again without additional adjustments.

While our nylon webbing is extremely durable and will not break under pressure of any dog, this does not make it immune to cutting, chewing, tearing, or other sharp force damage. Please be sure to tighten the collar enough so your kitty does not get his/her jaw stuck; two fingers wiggle room under the strap is perfect.

Pro Tip for Fraying
If you notice any fraying, try the “lighter trick”! With the collar removed from your pet, gently run a flame near the edge (without direct contact) to melt stray fibers back into place.

Machine wash in a pillowcase or hand wash with gentle soap. Lay flat to dry.
