I sketched the face of Gustav Klimt’s painting Mada Primavesi while standing in awe of the original at the Met in New York. Just. Wow. .. what a painting. The eyes in particular have such an intensity.

Image measures 7 x 5” (17.8 x 12.7 cm) with a white border around the edge. Paper size is 7.5 x 5.5” (19 x 14 cm). Image is sized to fit in a standard 8 x 10” mat (U.S.) – which are pre-cut for 5 x 7” images.

Printed on 100% cotton fiber, acid-free Epson paper (330 gsm weight) using UltraChrome archival ink. It has a smooth, velvety finish and beautiful color. Signed by the artist on back.

Packaged in an eco-friendly sleeve (plant-based & compostable), and shipped in a sturdy, bend-proof cardboard mailer. Ships from the San Francisco Bay Area, via first class mail.

Wow, I can’t stop looking at this print. The lines are delicate and strong and alive, the background color warm but still chill. But what really gets me is the mystery of this face and what she is thinking, what she knows, what she dreams. I love it so much! And thank you for the surprise gifts. Fabulous transaction with a super-talented artist.
