This listing is for dragon fruit cuttings. The variety names are unknown, making these ideal for beginners. We suspect they are a Vietnamese White as this variety is grown ubiquitously in our area.
These dragon fruit cuttings are mature & will be 10-18” in length. Cuttings will be freshly harvested and packaged for your order. Some dragonfruit cuttings may come with roots while others may have aerial roots which tend to be lighter than terrestrial roots.
Dragonfruit cuttings can be allowed to dry and seal their wounds before planting, or potted immediately. We recommend planting your Dragonfruit cuttings horizontally to see greater upward growth. You can also cut these into smaller pieces to position around a tree or post. Or lay them horizontally for maximum rooting potential.
Dragon fruit requires a host or post to grow up. For dragonfruit to produce they need to climb a few feet and then weep over. This is when the dragonfruit vines will produce fruit. Any Dragonfruit planted near a tall tree will focus on growth and create a difficult fruit to reach as well as producing too much vegetation and not enough fruit.
Dragonfruit can be grown in a container but all terrestrial plants prefer being in the soil. Dragonfruit cuttings roots into the ground as well as into the post or tree to absorb nutrients.

Came well packed, I would have liked to see the dragon fruit cuttings marked which side is up.
So far so good. The cuttings are larger than I was expecting them to be. Very healthy looking. My only suggestion would be to include a little info on the receipt on proper rooting. I found some info in an online video.
