How quickly will my jewellery be delivered?

If you are based in the UK, we have a next working day service available. Please choose express delivery at the checkout stage and order before noon. If you have ordered our photo insertion or engraving service, express delivery is the working day after we have received your photos and confirmed engraving. Please note delivery dates do not include processing times: Standard Delivery (Second Class) for UK Mainland, Highlands & Islands - Free for orders over £85 (3 to 5 days) UK First Class Shipping - £5.95 (1-3 working days) UK Next Working Day - £9.00 (order before noon) Please note our couriers are DHL and Royal Mail. We will send via the best method, at our discretion.

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we ship to many overseas destinations, including the USA, Canada, Australia, Europe and more. Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs. Overseas orders will be dispatched Royal Mail International or DHL. We will let you know as soon as your order has been dispatched. Please note delivery dates do not include processing times: Europe - starts at £8, price depends on country and takes 7-14 working days. USA - £25 fast shipping with DHL Rest of World - starts at £12 (7-14 working days) Australia- £12.00 (7-14 working days) You can upgrade to our fast shipping service at the checkout stage.

Are your items Hallmarked?

All of our lockets are hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office with a full UK hallmark. The hallmark is your guarantee of quality. It means that the item of jewellery has been independently tested, conforms to all legal standards of purity (fineness) and guarantees the provenance of the jewellery. The Lily Blanche hallmark has been created for us by the Edinburgh Assay Office using the world-famous castle mark.

When we use gold in our jewellery, it is 18 carat gold vermeil. Vermeil jewellery, pronounced ver-may, is a traditional French technique passed down by jewellers through the centuries. Unlike regular gold plating, a thick layer of gold is layered on top of another precious metal, in this case, sterling silver. The gold price is currently over $5521 an ounce. Put simply, 18 carat gold vermeil gives you the best quality for the best price.

Are Your Gemstones Genuine?

Our gemstones are real gemstones unless otherwise stated and our pearls are real freshwater, cultured pearls from a sustainable source. Our gemstones are sourced ethically and cut for us by trained gemstone cutters with whom we have a close relationship. The gemstones in our Birthstone collection are ethically sourced and handcut by a small family of gemstone cutters who have been working wth us for years. All of our birthstone jewellery is natural, real stones and each stone has its own inclusions and markings, no two gemstones are the same. Inclusions enhance the beauty of the natural stones.

What is your returns policy?

Our small team works really hard to ensure that you are delighted with your purchase. However, if you are unhappy with your purchase, please message us on Etsy for returns info. You have 21 days from item delivery to dispatch this item back to us. Buyer is responsible for returns postage costs. Please note the following cannot be returned/refunded: Earrings, any engraved item, bespoke orders, photo service, shipping charges, items which have been modified, any local taxes or customs duties, any fines incurred for refusal to accept a delivery, jewellery which was ordered more than 30 days ago. All items must arrive in their original condition and be unworn. Everything in the original box must be returned including care kit.

Can I add engraving to my item?

Yes. Many of our collections, including the Memory Keeper Lockets and bracelets and many of our other lockets, can be engraved. Engraving can be added at the checkout stage. Our engraving is done in our studio by our engravers. We always check engraving with you before proceeding. Please note that engraved pieces are non-returnable. This does not affect your statutory rights. Engraved or bespoke orders cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty. Photo lockets can be returned but our photo service is non-refundable, as is our engraving service. We do not refund shipping costs.

Can I add photos to my locket?

Yes. We have a photo service for all of the lockets to which photos can be added. Your photos will be edited and optimised for the best results. The photographs will be printed using a photographic printer and inks on a premium quality photographic paper and cut to fit. We are able to work with many forms of photographs. Please note that our photo service is non-refundable.

Can I Add Gift Wrapping to My Order?

Yes, you can. You can add gift wrap and a gift message during checkout. Our gift wrapping includes our Ribbon Tied Luxury Gift Bag. All of our jewellery comes with a jewellery care kit that includes a anti-tarnish jewellery storage pouch, a polish cloth and a handy ring sizer. Your jewellery will also come in a ribbon-tied gift box and is beautifully wrapped in scented tissue paper.

How does Vermeil differ from gold plate?

Vermeil jewellery differs from gold-plated jewellery because it is made wholly of precious metal and because of the carat and quantity of gold used. Vermeil is one of the hottest luxury jewellery trends right now. It is a far superior product than gold plated or gold filled jewellery, both of which contain base metals and cannot be hallmarked. With the gold price near an all time high, gold vermeil is simply the best quality you can buy at the best price.
