This is a great way to add an ultra-compact candelabra bulb socket to your industrial pipe lamp project. It features a heavy duty candelabra (E12) bulb socket, permanently mounted inside a 1/2" black malleable iron 90º street elbow fitting. Simply thread into your lamp project (threads into 1/2" female NPT opening), connect the wires (see third paragraph for wiring details), and add a candelabra bulb of your choice (up to 75W, bulb not included). This is a great way to make a beautiful black iron chandelier!

The socket is UL Listed, and rated for 125V at up to 75W. The wire lead is approx. 22" of 18AWG polarized white wire (ribbed = white/neutral; smooth (printed) = black/hot) with SPT-1 insulation. Proper electrical experience is required to safely wire these sockets to your project.
