For the last 20 years or so I have been making clients happy doing graphic design. I still do that, but recently I've been making myself happy by spending much more time creating, painting, gluing and crafting.
My husband and I own an independent bookstore in the Orlando area, and I am often encouraged by enthusiastic readers and their love of mystery, romance or theology. I get much of my inspiration from the endearing illustrations I see in our kid's book section. I also love anything vintage and especially the beautiful vintage books that pass through our hands often on the way to a dumpster. I love rescuing some of these old books and upcycling them into a new chapter of charm.
