Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world..... nope, just kidding. I am a small town girl in British Columbia, Canada though. I am lucky to have a loving family and amazing friends. I used to work for a credit union, but it wasn't what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I love sewing, so I decided to start a business making clothing. I started Monkey and Turtle Children's Wear a few years ago with my sister. Life got busy, and we put it on the back burner. I decided to give it a reboot, as well as starting a women's apparel business, Wandering Rose Apparel. I am trying to use a more "environmentally gentler" approach. I use organic fabrics when I can, although I am not always able to. I also do mostly made-to-order clothing, to reduce the waste of unsold items. My customers know that their item is not made in some sweatshop in parts unknown - just in my own little sewing room, in a small town, in Canada.
