I was born and raised in Forest Hills, NY, which is right outside of Manhattan. For college I went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, one of the top schools for printmaking. It was here that I honed my skills as an artist and started incorporating more natural elements into my work. It took some time to figure out an appropriate name for my press, but I settled on Pi Press when I realized that my initials made a perfect pi symbol. I also studied silkscreen in Florence, Italy and was inspired by their deep tradition of beautiful handmade stationery. Now I am back in NY and continue making delicate prints.
