Hi,my name is Conni.
I am a stay at home and work from home Mom of 2 boys, 17 and 19. They are both hockey players. Being a hockey Mom is a very busy life style so my escape from the rat race is to sit down and paint, and make things. it takes me to a very relaxed peaceful place that is much needed for me. I love being creative.
As you can see I paint a little bit of everything and dabble in many different projects, when I first started painting I thought I would do abstract but I am finding that I really enjoy painting landscapes.
I think it is because painting landscapes has really changed how I see the world around me, The shadows, the reflections, The true beauty of the outdoors..painting has truly changed my life and for that alone I am forever grateful.
Wilson Bickford Is one of my biggest inspirations, I have learned so much from him.
He not only is an amazing Artist but seems to be one of the sweetest men ever! He reminds me of my father.
A few of my paintings are from his video's that I have done, To learn new techniques and to better myself as a painter. I personally asked his permission to sell them and he said he would want ppl to benefit from the work they have done. I have been friends with him on FB for a while now and continue following and learning from him.
I hope that you enjoy my art as much as I enjoy creating it.
