I am a single mother living in the country.My daughter and I are both arty,I make jewellery,do leadlighting and am about to do a welding course so I can make metal sculptures.

My daughter (who is writing this small section about herself) does manga/disturbing things (eg-dolls, etc) style drawings in both digital and traditional media.

I love steampunk .Although I have been reading steampunk for many years ,my 12yo daughter only just put a name to the genre for me and showed me that there is a market for my “steampunk”style jewellery.I like to make delicate Victorian/Edwardian/gothic style ladies jewellery with mechanical cogs and components,a bit of filigree,some nice charms,and semi precious gemstones.I also like to make religious style jewellery.

I have tried to use materials that are the best I can get while still keeping my items at a reasonable price.My chain is rhodium plated,the lovely toggle closures are silver plated pewter,the charms are either silver plated or solid pewter,the various connectors and cuffs are silver plated and the earring findings are sterling.All gemstones are genuine,so is the leather,and all other components are from vintage watches/clocks or just cool stuff I have picked up around the place.
