Lauren: I am an artist teacher from Ohio. I love teaching art and have recently finished my Master's degree in Art Education. I have found I now have time and energy to explore my own creative outlets. I love textiles and use them to create mixed media paintings as well as sewing projects. I have been designing wedding stationary on a small scale with my little business, LAF Studios, for a few years now and have decided to further my business through the wonderful world of Etsy!
I'm entering this endeavor with my ever so wonderful mom and partner in creative crime, Katie.
Katie has been sewing since she was a young girl and crafting ever since I can remember. She so enjoys creating wonderful pieces for other people's enjoyment. Purses and bags are her real niche for our StratfordPlace store. We are combining LAF Studios and her business, TheOldBag in StratfordPlace. Most of the bags and purses for sale have been made by her loving hands. (StratfordPlace will also include some products sewn by me as well.) When you receive a bag by Katie, you can rest assured that you have recieved a fantastic product.
We both thrive on creativity, and adore making things to fit the unique needs and desires of individual people. Attenion is paid to every little detail. Our shop offers, and will offer, pre-packaged and pre-made invitations, stationary, bags, and other items but please feel free to contact us for custom designs.
