I am Sanne, a Danish designer. As I was born in Kopenhagen Denmark I have been surrounded and influenced by great classic Scandinavian design since my childhood.
Now I live outside Munich. Starting in 1993 I manufactured with great passion silver classic Scandinavian pieces of jewelry.
When my son moved to San Francisco, he told me all about the latest tablets and laptops which needed smart and safe protection – and so my new JEWEL was born: unique minimalistic softcovers in outstanding materials.
In 2012 SCANCLASSIC was founded, which stands for a Scandinavian functional and colorful design. The company is based on sustainability. The bags are manufactured from 100 % eco-friendly wool felt exquisite leftover Genuine Leather bought from Top Notch designers, all produced in Germany.
All sleeves, handbags, and accessories are handmade by myself with love and care for details. Some of the products are designed in an exquisite mix of fabrics, each item is unique.
My main focus is on timeless design, solid craftsmanship, perfect quality, and unique materials, always taking sustainability into account.
