I have been a “maker” and craftsman most of my life. As a teenager, I worked part time making cabinets. I did metal stamping in my 20s, but eventually found my way to a career making fine jewelry for almost 25 years. Later, I ended up making orthotics for well over a decade before being laid off during Covid. “Useful gadgets” have always been a joy to me.
