Arya Monster is the independent art brand of Arya Hou, a California-based artist and sculptor creating bizarre creatures, emotional sculptures, and surreal fantasy worlds.

Rooted in what I call “vibrant darkness,” my work explores transformation, resilience, shadow, and the quiet light that can emerge through difficult human experience. Each piece is shaped by a deep love for fantasy, symbolism, creature design, contemporary surreal art, and entertainment art.
