I have always had a passion for the history of objects. Items crafted for function but with form. Created by people who were proud of their skills and cared for every cut, carve or brush stroke within.
It's a belief of mine that nobody ever truly owns an antique, we just choose to become their guardians for a little while as many of the objects have already had more life than we have. A camera isn't just a camera. It was created through decades of engineering, care and passion and back when we had a limit of only 24 memories we could capture with one, they were cherished and those little objects were used to capture the most precious moments in a persons life. Births, weddings, parties, families, friends. I never just see a camera, I see the moments people hold dear to them.
The background of my little company is based on my love of these objects. I work primarily in entertainment and have been lucky enough to have travelled for work and over the decades I've filled by bag, car or suitcase, wherever I have gone and picked up things I loved. England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Spain, Italy to name but a few and having moved to France, I decided to share some of the many treasures I've found that show some of the history of this great world .
