Bio Pixel Prints a commencé comme un projet visant à pratiquer la bioinformatique. Travaillant dans la recherche sur le cancer, j'étudiais souvent de près la génétique, cependant, regarder encore et encore A T G et C peut devenir un peu ennuyeux. Je voulais une nouvelle façon de visualiser les fichiers FASTA avec lesquels je travaillais, et c'est ainsi que Bio Pixel Prints a été créé. Bio Pixel Prints started as a project to practice bioinformatics. Working in cancer research, I was frequently closely studying genetics, however, looking at A T G and C over and over again can get a bit boring. I wanted a new way to visualise the FASTA files I was working with, and thus Bio Pixel Prints was created. Being able to see each individual base reminds us how complex our cells are and what a miracle it is that they work the way they do!

We use bespoke bioinformatics tools and high-resolution printing techniques to ensure that every print is both scientifically accurate and artistically exquisite.
