Passionate about miniatures and trying to create in 1/12th scale
Hello and welcome to my shop.
Here’s how it all began….
Several years ago, a relative visited and made a flippant remark that ‘I needed to get a hobby’ after observing that my constant DIY and re-design projects in my house were getting slightly obsessive!
I decided that they were probably right and thought for several weeks about a suitable hobby that I might enjoy.
The only hobby I could think of which would combine my enjoyment of both DIY and design (before I totally destroyed my house), was the doll’s house and miniatures scene.
Since then I’ve loved every minute spent creating mostly 1/12th scale miniatures.
I also started miniature food making after buying a kit to create a traditional English tea shop. It’s great fun to make the food items and feels like comfort eating without the calories!
Some of the food I make is inspired by memories of many happy Saturday afternoons spent making cakes with my lovely Grandma in her kitchen.
I seem to have several projects on the go at any one time and always wish there were more hours in the day.
My real house is now safe from my DIY skills and my obsession is now with all things miniature!
