About Catstellation

I'm currently a full-time optical engineer at a startup in Melbourne. Before joining industry, I spent 11 years as part of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, which officially makes me a certified nerd with a PhD.

I've always been passionate about drawing science—and more recently, drawing my rescued cat, Cinder. So I thought, why not draw both?

I've always dreamed of opening a cat sanctuary where abandoned senior cats can spend the rest of their lives with me. At first, I said it as a joke, but an industry salary is making it more of a reality. To help accelerate that dream, I need a side hustle—this Etsy store!

I'm currently renting out my spare bedroom as a cat hotel. All the artwork you will see in this shop is inspired by the wonderful cats I've met along the way.

Every purchase helps bring me one step closer to building that sanctuary. Thank you for supporting both science and cats!
