How Goodies Started:

Goodies started long before Etsy.

When I was a kid, my dad would make his own Chex Mix around the holidays. It wasn’t dry. It wasn’t bland. It wasn’t something you picked around. It was bold, buttery, and gone fast.

By the time I graduated high school, I told him he should sell it. He never did.

So in 2016, I tried. I sold it on Etsy for a few months, then life moved on and I stopped.

Almost ten years later, I brought it back.

Why I Started It Again:

If you’ve ever bought store-bought Chex Mix, you know.

It’s dry. It’s dusty. It’s forgettable.

That’s not what I grew up eating.

Goodies is oven-roasted in small batches and coated in a butter-based blend that actually sticks. Every handful has flavor. No bland bites. No digging for the “good pieces.”

I’ve been eating this recipe for over 30 years — and it still doesn’t get old.

What I’m Building:

Right now, it’s a side business.

But the goal is bigger.

I want Goodies sitting next to the store-bought stuff — and I want people choosing this instead.

Better flavor. Better crunch. Better habit.

This isn’t a holiday-only recipe anymore.

It’s a brand.

Crave. Snack. Repeat.
