Mi abuela, Chizuru, coleccionó cuidadosamente estos sellos durante décadas. En Japón, el nombre Chizuru significa "mil grullas", símbolo de longevidad y paz. Al igual que su nombre, estos sellos han resistido el paso del tiempo, guardando recuerdos e historias de una época pasada.
Es posible que encuentres algo de envejecimiento natural o pequeñas manchas (foxing) en estos sellos. Para mí, no son defectos, sino una hermosa pátina que narra la historia del tiempo. La llamo la belleza "Wabi-Sabi": encontrar la perfección en lo imperfecto.

Welcome to Chizuru’s Stamp Box.
These stamps were carefully collected over many decades by my grandmother, Chizuru. In Japan, the name Chizuru means "a thousand cranes," symbolizing longevity and peace. Just like her name, these stamps have stood the test of time, carrying memories and stories from a bygone era.
You may find some natural aging or small spots (foxing) on these stamps. To me, these are not flaws, but a beautiful "patina" that tells the story of time. I call it the "Wabi-Sabi" beauty—finding perfection in the imperfect.
