Future Neighborhood Old Rock- Lady
Hi, Im Melody and I founded CocoNap Crystals.
My dream is to become an old rock-lady one day, hanging out in my garage teaching the neighborhood children all I know.
Just like the old "Rock-man" who lived in my neighborhood as a child.
He was SO COOL, always teaching us something new, from splitting geodes, to using a rock saw to cut and then polish a piece of petrified wood for each of us.
He once gave me my first trilobite fossil!
To inspire the next generation of little rock collectors would be so fun!
...Geology was always fascinating to me as a young person.
I grew up in Flagstaff, AZ and the geography up there was so fun to explore. From lava tubes, to an icy cave us neighborhood kids knew about, from day trips to Montezuma's Castle and Well, and climbing up cinder cones and finding lava bombs. I definitely developed a love for the land and all the treasures it holds.
Starting this crystal selling business is fulfilling a life long dream of running my own little rock shop. I used to fantasize about being that person who owns some random roadside rock/junk shop filled with treasures. For now, it will have to be here, but boy am I happy to have even this little opportunity to share my love of crystals and minerals with you.
You may find me some days grey and old and happy as heck to sell you some old rock in my little hovel by the road! One has to have dreams!
