My name is Lisa and I live in Fort Collins Colorado. I have lived in Ireland, Japan, Italy, and England and am inspired by travel and art. I value cozy spaces made comfortable through art, texture, and natural materials. I love to find pieces at estate sales and thrift shops across Northern Colorado and when traveling.
I majored in Art History and Fine Art in college many moons ago, and am drawn towards the unique, artsy, and antique with a sense of history. I feel a sense of duty towards the environment and try to offer items I know others will love just as much as I do. I prioritize rescuing items made by hand, and also made in countries that have regrettably outsourced labor in recent decades. I love finding something made in USA or Canada especially, or countries where I have lived like Ireland, Italy, and Japan. Slow fashion and design (and food!) are my passion. Collecting Cozy was born out of the idea of a slower time where people, community, art and the environment mattered. Hopefully you will feel a sense of coziness and mutual warmth by visiting Collecting Cozy!
