Vintage, Antiques and Me
Gosh. Me and vintage go way back. Such fun, on the prowl, the search for that elusive great item wherever you go.
Estate sales, yard sales, auctions, ads, sooo much fun. Once I realized I could make a living at it, well, the rest is history. I don't buy it if I don't love it and throughout the years that has PAID off.
Even though I have had so many years of experience, I still once in a while overlook something, don't see a flaw or a chip or a ding thru my excitement at the object, I'm trying to hone that skill and bring only the best to me, to you.
Memories are a luxury because today, is, well, full of today. So I dig things that evoke something and brings me inspiration.
My father once told me, "You kids think you have it made, but I would NEVER replace my time on this earth as a boy growing up with internet."
A pause, maybe he, they, were really the lucky ones then, but as long as the cool things from then are available to us. Maybe we are just as lucky too!.
