This shelf fits perfectly in the space, and my microwave fits perfectly on it! Very happy with the shelf, and the little extras (towel hooks and cutting board mini shelf). Customer service was good as I had specific questions regarding some of the measurements. Only hiccup was that I ordered the brown color and received the natural bamboo, but I'll live with that as the function outweighs aesthetics.
