Doing what I love since 2001..
My name is Lisa and my Etsy shop is called "Created by Alexa." I have never been good at artsy things until I created my first necklace. It became a wonderful hobby to relax when my son was a baby. I began giving my pieces away as gifts for birthdays and holidays and started getting requests. I soon began selling my items and found that I loved it. I took some time off creating pieces to complete my masters' degrees.
One day I had to stop by my local craft store to pick up some school supplies for my son, and as I passed by the jewelry section, I simply couldn't resist. And it began again. Two years later, my family complains about little silver bits and beads all over the house and my kitchen table a photography studio. Now another adventure, as I learn how to make Etsy work for me. I believe in supporting my fellow Etsy store owners and buy many items I need for my
shop right here on Etsy.
I know what you are thinking... your name is Lisa, where did Alexa come from? I met the wonderful man of my life online playing a game and at that time, he knew me as Alexa. Eight years later, we still chuckle about the screen names we met each other with, so when deciding on a name for my business, it was simple... and Created By Alexa was born.
