How does the commission process work?
Commissions begin with a submission form. Once the subject and scope are agreed upon, reference photos and details are collected to inform the drawing. From there, the artwork is hand-drawn using traditional tools, allowing the piece to develop slowly and thoughtfully. When complete, the final drawing is delivered as an original artwork, with print options available upon request.
What is the turnaround time for a commission?
Because each piece is hand-drawn, commissions require time. Typical timelines range from two weeks to a month, depending on complexity and current studio schedule. The pace is intentional—allowing the work to reflect care, accuracy, and craft.
Custom and personalized orders
Framing is not included by default but can be discussed depending on the project. All artwork is carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.
Sizing details
For prints, sizing is as specified when ordering the print of your choosing. Commissioned drawings are available in a range of sizes: 5"x7", 8"x10", 9"x12", and 11"x14".
Gift wrapping and packaging
Please specify in the order notes if you wish to gift wrap. Gift wrapping will incur an additional fee with your order and will be based on the size of the purchased product.
