5 out of 5 starsAnyone familiar with the process of immersion waxing knows that the companies offering wax solutions have made every step of the process clean and easy except the last one - breaking in a freshly waxed chain. We've either just thrown it on the bike and put up with spotty shifting and flakes for 15-30 minutes, or resort to dragging chains over pipes, etc. This is a well designed solution to breaking in the chain. Wind the chain around the sprockets, slide the tool up/down the chain a few times, and you're good to go. While it's reasonably priced compared to 3 pulley wheels and the time to properly mount them to some board, it's obviously a bit expensive for most single cyclists only waxing a few times a year. I probably wax 20 chains a year and this will be a nice time saver.

5 out of 5 starsAs described, this is great for breaking in a newly-waxed chain. The only improvement I can think of would be some guides on the outside of the outer sprockets, so that the chain would not tend to ride up on the teeth initially. But that is a very small issue with a very useful product.

5 out of 5 starsWorks great. Just used it on two newly waxed chains. It helped to get rid of a lot of excess wax and loosen up the chain for installation.

5 out of 5 starsEven more robust than it appeared in the photos. I had tried my own DIY solution with some spare jockey wheels mounted on a 2x4. Chain does not slip off of this device like it did with my homebrew rig. Works with 8-speed and SRAM flattop 12-speed alike. Prompt shipping. I'm impressed!
