I'm an arts and crafts enabler. Creation and expression are crucial. Many kids consider themselves creative and artistic, but turn away from the arts as adults to pursue more lucrative work. Slowly, our culture is losing the individual touches, becoming homogenous and controlled by gatekeepers. Except that isn't true. There are makers all over the world, creating unique, beautiful things that will never become mass popular culture. I want to see more of that. More wonder, more delight.
