Hace unos años, después de tener nuestros trillizos A, B y C, mi pasión por la fotografía se encendió y no hubo forma de detener el incendio forestal que se propagaba desde mi cámara. No podía dormir, no podía comer... todo lo que podía pensar en mi "tiempo libre" era tomar fotos y devorar los manuales que venían con mi cámara, clasificando videos y tutoriales en línea y jugando sin cesar durante la siesta.

Un día, perdimos a nuestro querido pastor alemán, Ruger, y al día siguiente, hizo clic. Quería honrar su memoria tomando fotos de personas con sus queridos perros de la familia ... pasar tiempo con perros como él y dar a las familias el regalo de su conexión, grabado. Y cuantas más personas fotografiaba, me daba cuenta de que no eran solo animales lo que quería capturar, era la emoción que quería obtener; entre una madre y su hija, una familia y su perro, una pareja recién casada. Me encantó todo.

Nació un negocio de retratos, pero todavía tenía una pasión por el mundo natural, el que me ofreció tanta práctica valiosa solo unos años antes. Así que seguí en ello, capturando las pequeñas cosas que son extraordinarias en el mundo cotidiano, elevándolas a la luz para que obviamente puedan ser vistas y disfrutadas.

A few years ago, after having our triplets A, B and C - my passion for photography was ignited and there was no stopping the wildfire spreading from my camera. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat... all I could think about in my "spare time" was taking pictures and devouring the manuals that came with my camera - sorting through videos and tutorials online and playing endlessly during nap time.

One day, we lost our beloved German Shepherd, Ruger - and the day after, it clicked. I wanted to honor his memory by taking pictures of people with their own beloved family dogs... spending time with dogs just like him and giving families the gift of their connection, recorded. And the more people I photographed, I realized it wasn't just animals that I wanted to capture - it was the emotion that I wanted to get; between a mom and her daughter, a family and their dog, a couple just recently married. I loved it all.

A portrait business was born, but I still had a passion for the natural world - the one that offered me so much valuable practice just years before. So, I kept at it, capturing the little things that are extraordinary in the everyday world - lifting them into the light so that they can be obviously seen and enjoyed.
